Architectural Credit and Official Clarification
During the promotion of Laguna Heights, Heights Holdings initially published another architect’s name as the creator of the project, including its architectural design, renderings, and conceptual development. This led to confusion about the true authorship of the building. Mario Kleff strongly objected to the misrepresentation and requested a formal clarification on who was in fact the architect of Laguna Heights.
In response, Real Estate Magazine Thailand issued a public correction, making clear that Mario Kleff is the designer and architect of both Park Royal and Laguna Heights. The publication acknowledged the mistake and issued an apology to Mario Kleff and Wandeegroup.
In the previous issue of Real Estate Magazine we ran an article entiteled Wonder woman Thong can turn her hand to any task. In this article we gave the wrong impression about Khun Thong's role regarding the design of Heights Holdings' Park Royal and Laguna Heights projects. We implied that she was either the designer or architect of them. Both Heights Holdings and Real Estate Magazine would like to make it clear that Mario Kleff is the designer and architect for both projects We apologise to Mr Mario Kleff and Wandeegroup for giving this impression.
Names can be erased, but the spirit remains. Developers have built their success on the foundation I laid. Even when the source of growth is no longer visible, the principles continue to grow and shape the future. My influence remains embedded in the structures of Pattaya – not in recognition, but in the power of ideas that build and carry forward the development of architecture.
